Our Journey

Founding and Early Years

Bennet & Bernard Group, founded in 2010 by first-generation entrepreneurs Lincoln Bennet Rodrigues and Lindsay Bernard Rodrigues, has evolved from a luxury real estate pioneer in Goa to a diversified global business house. Renowned for award-winning projects like Gables by the Bay and Casa Del Señor, which earned the CNN News18 ‘Best Developer of the Year - Goa’ award in 2020, the group has set new standards in premium residential design. Expanding into gastronomy with acclaimed restaurants and FMCG with innovative brands like Artisan Deli and Black Vanilla Gourmet, Bennet & Bernard has also ventured internationally, with projects in Portugal. Committed to innovation, sustainability, and community impact through initiatives like the Rooney Marlee Animal Welfare Trust, the group continues to redefine excellence, delivering value to people and the planet while pursuing ambitious global growth.

Expansion into Diverse Sectors

From its real estate roots, Bennet & Bernard diversified into hospitality, gastronomy, and FMCG, reflecting the founders’ passion for innovation and quality. The gastronomy division, under Bennet & Bernard Gastronomy Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., includes high-rated establishments such as Thirsty Bear, Black Vanilla, Crab & Co, and Artisan Deli. The launch of Black Vanilla Gourmet, Goa’s first gourmet store offering exotic products from over 40 countries, marked a significant milestone in the retail segment. In 2025, the company opened Luciano Cafe in Obidos Portugal, the first in a series of Italian-themed cafes planned for launch in Europe.

Commitment to Sustainability and Community

Sustainability is a core pillar of Bennet & Bernard’s operations. Their real estate projects incorporate eco-friendly features such as solar energy, double-glazed windows, and passive architectural designs for natural climate control. Advanced construction techniques, including damp-proofing and anti-termite treatments, ensure durability and quality

International Growth

Bennet & Bernard’s ambition extends beyond India, with a notable expansion into Portugal, where the group has launched luxury villa projects and hospitality ventures. This international foray, coupled with plans for further acquisitions, underscores the company’s goal to create a global presence while maintaining Goa as its primary hub. Upcoming projects like Chiado de Moira signal continued growth in both domestic and international markets.

Team and Culture

Bennet & Bernard’s success is driven by a skilled team of architects, designers, and craftsmen, with an average employee tenure exceeding five years. This stability fosters strong customer support and business growth. The company’s open-door policy empowers employees to make informed decisions, enhancing efficiency and morale. The team’s dedication to excellence ensures that each project, from Balinese-style Elmsgate villas to the Georgian-inspired Grosvenor House, reflects unparalleled craftsmanship and innovation.
